Summer weather has arrived but that did not stop me from wearing denim on denim this past weekend to brunch. Many people shy away from wearing denim on denim as it could make you look dated. However, you can easily modernize your denim look with a few key pointers.

Frances’ styling tips:

  • Make sure your denim piece is in a current trendy silhouette.
  • If you want to wear denim separates in one outfit, avoid wearing the same or similar denim wash on top & bottom.
  • If you want to try the matching separates trend with denim, wear one denim piece & the other piece in the same wash but in a different fabrication, ideally a lighter weight fabric.
